My husband and I decided to build our dream home on Lake Lanier. After selling our home in Alpharetta we moved into temporary housing and set to the task of finding a lot, architect and builder. We interviewed at least 4 builders and looked at homes that they had built. Ron Bell was recommended to me by a real estate agent that sells lots of homes on the lake. So I included him in our process. Ron made himself available on several visits to lots that I was considering so I could find out if the home I wanted to build would fit. Reggie Bell would also come and offer advice. They were with me at every step of the way and were very honest with their opinions. Ron looked at my floor plan and gave me an estimate for the construction. He allowed me to make changes along the way and was involved in all phases of construction. He finished our home on schedule and was very easy to work with. He provided the necessary paperwork and financials for our bank and was always aware of our budget. I now live in a quality home that I love and get compliments on my home on a regular basis. I was happy that I chose Bell Construction. People always ask me “I bet it was stressful building your own home,” and I always reply that it was a great experience!

Ron, Reggie and their sub-contractors are smart, responsive, hands-on, patient and accommodating. Yes, we were involved almost daily and every step of the way, but they know what they’re doing! They know how the grade of the lot affects design plans and needs, Hall County building code and Army Corps of Engineer requirements, making changes as the structure evolved and our vision became reality, listening to our goals and wants, and keeping us apprised of challenges, changes and decisions throughout the process. They were always a pleasure to work with. We love our lake house and will always be grateful for their hard work from day one through completion – and following up when we need recommendations even a year later.
