Answers to what most people ask.
Do you require a lot under contract before we talk?
No. We prefer to meet early, even before you've closed on land. We've walked lots with clients who hadn't signed anything yet — sometimes we saved them a bad purchase, sometimes we confirmed a good one. Either way, no charge for the conversation.
What's your typical build timeline?
Twelve to eighteen months for most custom homes, from signed contract to keys. Larger estates and complex lakefront builds can run twenty-plus months. We quote realistically up front rather than optimistically — you'll know what to plan for.
What's your minimum project size?
We don't publish a minimum, but we don't take remodels or additions — we focus on ground-up custom new construction. Most of our projects run from 2,800 to 5,500 square feet.
Do you work outside the five counties?
Rarely. We're intentional about the drive time because Ron or Reggie is on every jobsite daily. If you're on the edge of our service area, call us — sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Can I meet a past client?
Yes. We'll connect you with families we've built for, including ones who've lived in their Bell home for a decade or more. They'll tell you what we're like after the last check clears.
What warranty do you offer?
A full one-year builder's warranty on workmanship, plus manufacturer warranties on components. But the truth is we answer the phone long after those formal warranties expire — the families we built for in the 90s still call us when something needs attention.
